Welcome! My name is Mariam, I am an Egyptian-Canadian Woman, Urban Planner, Community Designer, COO, and Project Lead. My most recent projects focus on creating people-place connections and enhancing the Arts & Culture scene in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

 

Using my Community Design degree, passion for people and writing, my work is helping shape the multicultural fabric of Nova Scotia through research and small impactful community projects.

 

Presently, I am looking to utilize my skills and knowledge in community design to curate placemaking projects, as well as, implement research, marketing methods and impactful community projects.

In co-leading The Wave Projects I shared a similar role at it's sister company Lumi Studios, a digital marketing company offering mix media solutions that specialize in community story-telling.
